The label, word for word
Glyco Harmony Supplement Facts: What the Label Prints, Line by Line
The Glyco Harmony supplement facts panel lists a 1 mL serving and 60 servings per bottle. It prints two things: chromium (as chromium picolinate) at 0.7 mcg, 2% of the Daily Value, and a 200 mg proprietary blend of 22 names with no single amounts. Other ingredients include glycerin, stevia and xylitol. No allergen statement is printed.

The panel01
What does the Glyco Harmony supplement facts panel say?
The Glyco Harmony supplement facts panel gives a serving size of 1 mL and 60 servings per container. It then lists chromium with its own amount and one proprietary blend with a single total.
The chromium line reads "Chromium (as chromium picolinate)", 0.7 mcg, 2% of the Daily Value. The blend line reads "Proprietary Blend", 200 mg, with a dagger that points to "Daily Value not established". Under that line sit 22 names, printed in one running paragraph.
That makes 23 label lines, and only one has an amount of its own. The transcript below lets you check any line against the bottle.

Read it with a guide02
How do you read the Glyco Harmony label?
Read the label from the top: serving size, servings, the one amount, the blend total, the names, then the small print. Each part tells you something different, and each leaves something out.
Six numbered spots mark what each part says and what it leaves unsaid.
Tap a number to read that part of the label.
- Serving
Serving size 1 ml; 60 servings per container.
- Chromium
Chromium (as chromium picolinate) 0.7 mcg, 2% Daily Value. The only amount printed besides the blend total.
- Blend total
Proprietary Blend 200 mg; the dagger means Daily Value not established.
- 22 names
Names run from Maca (first) to L-Carnitine Base (last). The rule requires the names in descending order by weight; no single amount is given.
- Footnotes
Percent Daily Values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet; the dagger: Daily Value not established.
- Other ingredients
Glycerin, water, organic lemon extract, stevia extract 97% (Reb A), xylitol, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, citric acid, natural flavors. Xylitol is dangerous to dogs.
The one amount03
How much chromium is in Glyco Harmony?
One 1 mL serving of Glyco Harmony lists 0.7 mcg of chromium, which the label counts as 2% of the Daily Value.
The Adequate Intake for adults aged 19 to 50 is 25 to 35 mcg a day (NIH ODS, Chromium fact sheet). Chromium-only products usually give 200 to 500 mcg, and trials have used up to 1,000 mcg. Next to those figures, 0.7 mcg is under 1% of a common product dose.
Pooled trials of chromium picolinate show small changes of unclear importance (Yin and Phung 2015, chromium and A1C). No study has tested this product.
The 200 mg blend04
What does the 200 mg proprietary blend on the Glyco Harmony label mean?
The 200 mg proprietary blend is a single total for 22 names. The label does not print how much of each name the blend holds, or whether any extract is standardized.
Federal rules for blends require the total weight and the names in descending order by weight (eCFR, 21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)). So the first name, maca, weighs at least 200 ÷ 22 = 9.09 mg. Any name in position k can weigh at most 200 ÷ k mg. These are limits, not amounts.
Most names sit well under their ceilings, because the 22 ceilings add up to about 738 mg and the blend is only 200 mg.
The full explanation is on the 200 mg blend page.

What are the other ingredients in Glyco Harmony drops?
The other ingredients are glycerin, water, organic lemon extract, stevia extract 97% (Reb A), xylitol, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, citric acid and natural flavors. They make up the liquid base.
Glycerin and water carry the liquid. Sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate are preservatives. The label prints no comma after "organic lemon extract".
Two sweeteners deserve a note. Stevia extract at 97% purity falls in the range the FDA does not question as a food ingredient (FDA, Aspartame and Other Sweeteners in Food (stevia)). Xylitol is dangerous to dogs, so keep the bottle where pets cannot reach it (FDA, Xylitol and dogs).
If you have a known allergy, ask the distributor on the label or your pharmacist before you try the drops.
Directions and cautions06
What are the directions and cautions on the Glyco Harmony label?
The directions say: "Shake well before each use. Take 1 or 2 droppers full daily. Place in mouth and swallow." It gives no time of day, food rule or dropper volume.
Storage reads: Keep away from heat, light, and humidity to preserve freshness. The caution says not to exceed the recommended dose, and tells pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18 and anyone with a known medical condition to consult a physician first. The bottom band adds: keep out of the reach of children, and do not use if the safety seal is damaged or missing.
- Dose: 1 or 2 droppers a day. If one dropper is 1 mL, that is 200 or 400 mg of blend and 0.7 or 1.4 mcg of chromium.
- Supply: a 60 mL bottle lasts 60 days at 1 dropper a day and 30 at 2, on the same assumption.
Keep taking prescribed medicine. Never change insulin or diabetes medicine because of a supplement. Sources say chromium, L-arginine, ginseng and gymnema may each add to diabetes medicine, so low blood sugar is possible. More on the side effects page.
Who is named07
Who makes Glyco Harmony, and what do the label badges mean?
The label names a distributor, not a maker. It reads "Distributed by: Instituto Experience, Lakeland FL, 33804", with a phone number and an email address. The manufacturer is not named.
A badge says "Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients". A footnote says the product was manufactured in an FDA registered facility. Registration lists a site with the FDA. It is not approval of the product, and the facility is not named (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements).

FAQ08
Glyco Harmony label questions
What is the serving size of Glyco Harmony?
The serving size is 1 mL, and a bottle holds 60 servings. The label says to take 1 or 2 droppers full daily but does not say how much a dropper holds, so the match of one dropper to 1 mL is an assumption.
Does the Glyco Harmony label list the amount of each ingredient?
No. Only chromium has its own amount, 0.7 mcg. The other 22 names share a 200 mg proprietary blend, listed in descending order by weight, with no single amounts and no mention of standardization.
What percent Daily Value is the chromium in Glyco Harmony?
The label prints 2% of the Daily Value for 0.7 mcg of chromium. The blend shows a dagger and the words Daily Value not established, because no Daily Value exists for that mix of names.
Does Glyco Harmony contain sugar or artificial sweeteners?
The label lists no sugar. Its sweeteners are stevia extract 97% (Reb A) and xylitol. Natural flavors and organic lemon extract are also listed. Xylitol is dangerous to dogs, so keep the bottle away from pets.
Is there an allergen warning on the Glyco Harmony label?
No allergen statement is printed. The label lists 22 plant and amino-acid names plus several other ingredients. If you have a known allergy, ask the distributor named on the label or a pharmacist before you use it.
Why does the Glyco Harmony label say Lepidium mevenii?
It is a spelling slip. Maca's species name is Lepidium meyenii. The label also prints Irvingia gabonesis for gabonensis and L-Typtophan for L-tryptophan. This site keeps the printed spelling in the label table.
