The 200 mg blend
Glyco Harmony Formula: What the 200 mg Proprietary Blend of 22 Names Tells You
The Glyco Harmony formula includes a 200 mg proprietary blend of 22 names per 1 mL serving. The label prints the total and the names, but no single amounts. Because names are listed by weight, the first weighs at least 9.09 mg, and the name in position k weighs at most 200 ÷ k mg.

The blend01
What is the Glyco Harmony proprietary blend?
The Glyco Harmony proprietary blend is one line on the Supplement Facts panel: 200 mg per 1 mL serving, followed by 22 names. The label does not say how much of each name the blend holds.
The line carries a dagger that points to "Daily Value not established". Under it, the names run in one paragraph, from Maca (Lepidium mevenii) Root Extract to L-Carnitine Base. Chromium sits outside the blend, on its own line at 0.7 mcg.
So the formula has two parts: one printed amount, and one printed total with a list. The rest of the panel depends on how you read that list.
On the label02
How does the label list the Glyco Harmony formula?
The label lists the formula as chromium first, then the blend total, then 22 names in descending order by weight. Order is the only clue it gives about amounts.
Six numbered spots mark the serving size, the chromium line, the blend total, the names and the small print.
Tap a number to read that part of the label.
- Serving
Serving size 1 ml; 60 servings per container.
- Chromium
Chromium (as chromium picolinate) 0.7 mcg, 2% Daily Value. The only amount printed besides the blend total.
- Blend total
Proprietary Blend 200 mg; the dagger means Daily Value not established.
- 22 names
Names run from Maca (first) to L-Carnitine Base (last). The rule requires the names in descending order by weight; no single amount is given.
- Footnotes
Percent Daily Values are based on a 2,000 calorie diet; the dagger: Daily Value not established.
- Other ingredients
Glycerin, water, organic lemon extract, stevia extract 97% (Reb A), xylitol, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, citric acid, natural flavors. Xylitol is dangerous to dogs.
The rule03
How much of each name can the blend hold?
Name 1 holds at least 200 ÷ 22 = 9.09 mg, and the name in position k holds at most 200 ÷ k mg. The rule is the only math the label allows.
Federal rules for blends require the total and the names in descending order by weight (eCFR, 21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)). If name 1 weighed less than 9.09 mg, a later name would have to outweigh it, and the order would be wrong. If name 2 weighed over 100 mg, name 1 would weigh at least as much, and the two together would pass 200 mg.
Move over a bar to see the limit for that name.

Hover, tap or focus a row. The rule lists names from the heaviest to the lightest, so name k weighs at most 200 ÷ k mg, and name 1 weighs at least 200 ÷ 22 = 9.09 mg.
The 22 ceilings add up to about 738 mg, nearly four times the 200 mg blend, so most names must sit well below their ceilings. No real amount is printed. The blend is also at most about a fifth of each mL by weight, since a mL of liquid weighs about 1 g or more.
These are ceilings and a floor, not amounts. The 22 ceilings add up to about 738 mg, so most names sit well below theirs.

What is the most each name in Glyco Harmony can weigh?
Each name in the Glyco Harmony blend can weigh at most 200 ÷ its position in mg, per 1 mL serving. Names appear as in the usual spelling, not the printed one.

Does the 200 mg blend reach the amounts used in research?
For the names with a verified study amount, the label's ceiling sits far below it. No one can tell where inside the ceiling each name actually falls.
- African mango seed: at most 50 mg here, against up to 3,150 mg a day in trials (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements for Weight Loss).
- L-arginine: at most 12.5 mg here, against 2 to 20 g a day in exercise studies (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine).
- L-carnitine: at most 9.09 mg here, against 0.25 to 4 g a day (NIH ODS, Carnitine fact sheet).
The FTC notes that research on a single ingredient does not automatically support a finished product, because dose and combination must match (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance). No study has tested this mix.
Why blends exist06
Is a proprietary blend a red flag?
A blend is legal and common, but it takes away what you need to compare products. It is a reason to ask for more detail, not proof of a problem.
Makers use blends to keep a recipe private. The cost to you is that you cannot check any one name against research. The label also does not say whether any extract is standardized, meaning tuned to a set level of an active compound.
With no amounts, nobody outside the company can tell how much of any name is in the bottle.
What to ask07
What should you ask before buying a product with a blend?
Ask for the amount of each name, whether extracts are standardized, who makes the product and whether a lab report exists.
- The distributor on this label is Instituto Experience, Lakeland FL, with a phone number and email printed on the label.
- No maker, certifier or lab report is named. Lot and CoA codes quoted by the seller are references, not proof.
- Talk to your doctor or pharmacist first if you take insulin or any diabetes medicine. Never change a dose because of a supplement.
All 23 lines are on the ingredients page, and the label is typed out on the supplement facts page.
FAQ08
Glyco Harmony formula questions
What does proprietary blend mean on a supplement label?
It means the maker lists a combined weight for several ingredients without giving each one's amount. Federal rules require the total and the names in descending order by weight. Here the total is 200 mg for 22 names.
Which ingredient is highest in the Glyco Harmony blend?
By label order it is maca root extract, listed first. It weighs at least 9.09 mg, the smallest amount the first name could hold. Its actual weight is not printed, and it could be as high as 200 mg.
Is the Glyco Harmony formula standardized?
The label does not say. It names the extracts but gives no marker compound or percentage for any of them, so there is no way to compare the extracts with the ones used in studies.
Can the 200 mg blend hold an effective dose of every name?
No. The 22 ceilings add up to about 738 mg, which is more than 200 mg. So not every name can sit at its ceiling, and most must weigh less than the limit shown.
Is chromium part of the Glyco Harmony proprietary blend?
No. Chromium (as chromium picolinate) has its own line at 0.7 mcg per 1 mL, 2% of the Daily Value. The 200 mg blend lists 22 other names after it.
Does Glyco Harmony list the full formula?
It lists every name but not every amount. The Supplement Facts panel and the other ingredients line are complete as printed, but only chromium and the 200 mg blend total carry numbers.
