FAQ

Glyco Harmony FAQ: Straight Answers on the Drops, the Label, Safety, Price and Refunds

Quick answer

Glyco Harmony is a dietary supplement in liquid drops, and no, it is not FDA approved, because the FDA does not approve supplements before sale. Each 1 mL serving lists 0.7 mcg of chromium and a 200 mg blend of 22 names. These 40 answers cover dose, safety, evidence, price and refunds.

The drops01

What is Glyco Harmony, and what kind of product is it?

Glyco Harmony is a dietary supplement sold as liquid drops in a 2 fl oz (60 mL) amber glass dropper bottle. It is a food-category product, not a medicine, and its front label reads "Blood Sugar Support*".

The star leads to the FDA statement: the claims have not been evaluated by the FDA, and the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements). Is Glyco Harmony FDA approved? No. The FDA does not approve supplements before they are sold. A facility footnote on the label says registered, which is not approval.

Who makes Glyco Harmony?

The maker is not named. The label prints a distributor, Instituto Experience of Lakeland, Florida, and says the product was made in an FDA registered facility that it does not name.

Is Glyco Harmony a medicine?

No. It is a dietary supplement. The label says it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and a supplement is not a diabetes medicine.

What does Blood Sugar Support mean on the label?

It is wording on a label, not a test result. The star leads to the FDA statement that the claim has not been evaluated. No study has tested this product.

Are Glyco Harmony and Glycoharmony the same?

Yes. People search both ways, and both mean the liquid drops on this label. Look-alike names such as those on our name guide are different products.

Does Glyco Harmony taste sweet?

The label lists stevia extract and xylitol among the other ingredients, plus natural flavors and organic lemon extract. No taste is printed, so we cannot describe it.

Are there capsule or gummy versions?

Not on this label. It shows a liquid with a dropper. A sales page FAQ mentions capsules, which does not match the bottle.

The label02

What does the Glyco Harmony label list?

The label lists 23 lines: chromium (as chromium picolinate) at 0.7 mcg, and a proprietary blend of 200 mg that names 22 ingredients. Only chromium has its own amount.

The blend names run in descending order by weight (eCFR, 21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)), so the first name weighs at least 9.09 mg and name k at most 200 ÷ k mg. Those are limits, not amounts. The supplement facts page types out every line.

How much chromium is in Glyco Harmony?

0.7 mcg per 1 mL serving, 2% of the Daily Value. The Adequate Intake is 25 to 35 mcg a day (NIH ODS, Chromium fact sheet), and chromium-only products often give 200 to 500 mcg.

How many ingredients are in the Glyco Harmony blend?

The blend names 22 ingredients and weighs 200 mg per serving. With chromium, the Supplement Facts panel has 23 lines in all.

Which ingredient comes first in the blend?

Maca root extract. Because names run in descending order by weight, it weighs at least 9.09 mg per serving, which is 200 divided by 22.

What are the other ingredients in the drops?

Glycerin, water, organic lemon extract, stevia extract 97% (Reb A), xylitol, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, citric acid and natural flavors, as printed.

Does Glyco Harmony list allergens?

No allergen statement is printed. If you have an allergy, read the full name list and ask a pharmacist or the order desk before use.

Why are some names misspelled on the label?

The label prints some names with typos, such as Irvingia gabonesis and L-Typtophan. We show them as printed. It does not change what they refer to, but it is a quality flag.

Using the drops03

How do you take Glyco Harmony drops?

You shake the bottle, fill the dropper once or twice, place the drops in your mouth and swallow. The label allows 1 or 2 droppers full a day and says not to exceed that.

The label does not say how much a dropper holds, so this site assumes 1 dropper = 1 mL and labels it an assumption. See how to use for the steps.

How long does one 60 mL bottle last?

Droppers full a day (label: 1 or 2)
1.0 mL

At 1 dropper of 1.0 mL a day you use 1 mL. One 60 mL bottle (60 servings) lasts about 60 days. For 30 days you need 1 bottle, for 60 days 1, for 90 days 2.

Static version, assuming one dropper full is 1 mL (an assumption, not a label fact).
Droppers a dayDays per bottleBottles for 30 days60 days90 days
1 dropper (1 mL)60112
2 droppers (2 mL)30123

Illustration: simple arithmetic from the label, not a measurement of your dropper. The label says 60 servings of 1 mL per bottle and 1 or 2 droppers full a day. At 2 droppers the label amounts double (400 mg blend, 1.4 mcg chromium a day if a dropper is 1 mL). Buy by the table, not by the sales page's supply labels.

Can I take both droppers at once?

The label says 1 or 2 droppers full daily and names no split. Whether to take them together or apart is not stated. Do not exceed the label amount.

What time of day should I take Glyco Harmony?

The label names no time. The sales page suggests mornings before a meal, which is not on the label. Ask your doctor or pharmacist what suits you.

Do I need to shake the bottle?

Yes. The label says to shake well before each use. Place the drops in your mouth and swallow.

How should I store Glyco Harmony?

Keep it away from heat, light and humidity, in a cool, dry place, as the label says. Keep it out of the reach of children.

Can I take Glyco Harmony with food?

The label gives no food rule. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you take medicine that depends on meals.

Can teens or children use Glyco Harmony?

The label says children under 18 should consult a physician first. We do not advise use without that advice.

Safety04

Is Glyco Harmony safe, and who should ask a doctor first?

Nobody can call Glyco Harmony safe or unsafe in general, because no source has tested it. The label advises pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18 and anyone with a medical condition to consult a physician.

Keep taking prescribed medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist before you add a supplement, and never change insulin or diabetes medicine because of one.

Emergency signs

Confusion, fainting or a seizure need emergency care. Call 911 (CDC, Low Blood Sugar (Hypoglycemia)).

Can Glyco Harmony cause low blood sugar?

It is possible with some names. Sources say chromium, L-arginine, ginseng and gymnema may add to the effect of insulin or diabetes pills (NIH ODS, Chromium fact sheet). The product itself is untested.

What are signs of low blood sugar?

Shakiness, sweating, hunger, dizziness and confusion. Below 70 mg/dL is low (CDC, Low Blood Sugar (Hypoglycemia)). Confusion, fainting or a seizure need 911.

Is Glyco Harmony safe during pregnancy?

The label says pregnant or nursing mothers should consult a physician. No source here supports use in pregnancy.

Does the blend contain caffeine?

Guarana seed extract is a caffeine source (MSK, Guarana), and green tea extract carries some too. The amounts in the blend are not printed.

Can green tea extract harm the liver?

Liver injury has been reported with green tea extracts (LiverTox, Green Tea). The amount in this blend is unknown. Stop and call a doctor if you notice dark urine or yellow skin.

Why is licorice a concern?

Monoammonium glycyrrhizinate comes from licorice. Glycyrrhizin can raise blood pressure and lower potassium (NCCIH, Licorice Root). Ask a doctor if you have high blood pressure.

Is Glyco Harmony safe around pets?

Keep it away from them. Xylitol, in the drops, is dangerous to dogs (FDA, Xylitol and dogs).

Evidence05

What does the evidence say about Glyco Harmony?

No study has tested Glyco Harmony or this mix, so nobody can say what it does for blood sugar. Research on single names exists, but at amounts far above what the label allows.

The American Diabetes Association finds no benefit from supplements for people without a deficiency (American Diabetes Association, Vitamins and Supplements). See claims vs evidence for the full review.

Has Glyco Harmony been tested in a clinical trial?

We found none. No cited source has studied this product or this mix. Studies of single names used different amounts and settings.

Does chromium picolinate lower A1C?

Trials show small changes of unclear importance (Yin and Phung 2015, chromium and A1C). They used 200 mcg or more, while this label has 0.7 mcg.

Is Glyco Harmony meant for type 2 diabetes?

The label says Blood Sugar Support*, not diabetes. A sales page headline says "The Easiest Way to Manage Type 2". No source supports that claim.

Are there verified Glyco Harmony reviews?

We have none to show. Review cards on this site are labelled slots until matched to real orders. The FTC bans fake reviews (FTC, Final rule banning fake reviews).

Why do the label and the sales page disagree?

Sales copy is marketing (Glyco Harmony sales page). It mentions capsules and five nutrients (then names six), while the label shows drops. This site follows the label.

Is any doctor or celebrity known to endorse Glyco Harmony?

We know of no endorsement. The FTC requires endorsements to reflect honest use and show any payment (FTC, Endorsement Guides Q&A). Treat an unsourced "endorsement" ad as a warning sign.
