The six names01
Which plant extracts are in Glyco Harmony besides the main herbs?
Six of the 22 blend names are grouped here: grape seed, guarana, coleus forskohlii, capsicum, grapefruit and raspberry ketones. Each is printed as a name only, with no amount.
They sit at positions 2, 3, 9, 10, 11 and 13. Raspberry ketones are a flavor compound from red raspberries, also made in labs, so they are filed here. Maca, African mango, green tea, gymnema and the ginsengs have their own profiles on the ingredients hub.

The numbers02
How much grape seed, guarana and coleus is in Glyco Harmony?
Nobody can say, because the label prints only the 200 mg blend total per 1 mL. The rule does give a ceiling for each name: 200 divided by its place in the list.
A blend must list names in descending order by weight (eCFR, 21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)). The 22 ceilings add up to about 738 mg, so most names sit well under theirs.
| Place | Name | Ceiling, 1 dropper | Ceiling, 2 droppers |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | Grape seed | 100 mg | 200 mg |
| 3 | Guarana seed | 66.7 mg | 133.4 mg |
| 9 | Coleus forskohlii root | 22.2 mg | 44.4 mg |
| 10 | Capsicum fruit | 20 mg | 40 mg |
| 11 | Grapefruit fruit | 18.2 mg | 36.4 mg |
| 13 | Raspberry ketones | 15.4 mg | 30.8 mg |
The label does not say how much a dropper holds, or whether any extract is standardized.
What research shows03
What does research say about these plant extracts?
Little of it concerns blood sugar. Where a source exists, it covers weight, energy or cautions, and the amounts studied are usually far above the ceilings.
Research on one ingredient does not show what a finished product does. Dose, form and combination all have to match (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance). For grape seed, no verified source was found. For grapefruit, the FDA source covers the juice only (FDA, Grapefruit juice and some drugs). The table shows what sources do say.
| Name | What a source says | On blood sugar |
|---|---|---|
| Grape seed | No verified source found | None found |
| Guarana | Seeds contain caffeine, and many effects are thought to come from it (MSK, Guarana) | None in our sources |
| Coleus | Few human trials; no effect on weight in one summary (MSK, Forskolin (Coleus forskohlii)) | None in our sources |
| Capsicum | No effect on body weight; stomach upset at about 4 mg a day (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements for Weight Loss) | None in our sources |
| Grapefruit | The FDA source covers the juice, not extracts | None found |
| Raspberry ketones | Evidence in people is insufficient (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements for Weight Loss) | None in our sources |

From the Supplement Facts panel, in label order, per 1 mL serving. The blend lines show ceilings (or the floor for name 1), not amounts. Other ingredients (glycerin, water, organic lemon extract, stevia extract, xylitol, preservatives, citric acid, natural flavors) carry no amount.
Position gives the ceiling and says nothing about how well a name works. The panel is typed out on the supplement facts page.

Are Glyco Harmony plant extracts safe with medicines?
Not automatically. Guarana, coleus and grapefruit each have a source that names a medicine concern.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before you add a supplement. Keep taking prescribed medicine, and never change insulin or diabetes medicine because of a supplement. The label says pregnant or nursing mothers, children under 18 and anyone with a known medical condition should consult a physician.
Guarana
A caffeine source. Large amounts have caused heartbeat changes and high blood pressure, and it may raise bleeding risk with warfarin (MSK, Guarana).
Coleus forskohlii
It can lower blood pressure and slow the heart rate, and may add to blood-pressure drugs and blood thinners (MSK, Forskolin (Coleus forskohlii)).
Grapefruit
The juice changes how some medicines are handled. Whether this extract does the same is not stated, so ask a pharmacist.
Confusion, fainting or a seizure needs 911 (CDC, Low Blood Sugar (Hypoglycemia)). Yellow skin or eyes need a call to your doctor.
Reading the label06
What should you check on the label before buying?
Check the order, the missing amounts and the missing standardization. Together they show what the label cannot prove.
- Names run heaviest first, so grape seed and guarana outweigh coleus, capsicum, grapefruit and raspberry ketones.
- No amount is printed, so a claim that an extract is "clinically studied" cannot be matched to this bottle.
- No maker is named and no lab report is published.
The FDA does not approve supplements before sale (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements). If you want the drops, prices and the guarantee are on the pricing page, per the brand's offer; confirm at checkout.

FAQ08
Glyco Harmony plant extracts FAQ
Is grape seed extract in Glyco Harmony?
Yes, as the second name in the blend. Its amount is not printed. By the descending-order rule it weighs at most 100 mg per 1 mL, and no verified source was found for it.
Does Glyco Harmony contain caffeine?
It lists guarana seed extract, and guarana seeds contain caffeine. The label prints no caffeine amount, so the dose is unknown. If you avoid caffeine, ask your pharmacist first.
Is there forskolin in Glyco Harmony?
The label lists Coleus Forskohlii Root Extract, the plant source of forskolin, as name 9. It prints no forskolin percentage. The ceiling is 22.2 mg of extract per 1 mL, if one dropper is 1 mL.
Are raspberry ketones in Glyco Harmony effective?
No source shows that. A federal source rates the evidence in people as insufficient. They are name 13, at most 15.4 mg per 1 mL, and nobody tested them in this blend.
Does the grapefruit in Glyco Harmony affect medicines?
Unknown. The FDA warning is about grapefruit juice. The label lists a grapefruit fruit extract with no amount. If you take a statin or blood-pressure medicine, ask a pharmacist.
Are the plant extracts in Glyco Harmony standardized?
The label does not say. It prints each name and the blend total only. Without a marker compound or percentage, two bottles of the same name could differ in strength.
