The short list01

What are the ingredients in Glyco Harmony?

The ingredients in Glyco Harmony are chromium (as chromium picolinate) and a proprietary blend of 22 names, in a base of glycerin, water, stevia, xylitol and other items. That is 23 lines on the Supplement Facts panel.

The 22 names fall into three kinds. Twelve are plant extracts, from maca root to Panax ginseng aerial parts. One is raspberry ketones, a flavor compound. One, monoammonium glycyrrhizinate, comes from licorice root. Eight are amino acids and related compounds, such as L-arginine, GABA and L-carnitine.

No source we found has tested this mix, and the label gives no amount for any of the 22 names.

The full Glyco Harmony ingredients list is the 23 lines below, in the order the label prints them. Chromium comes first, then the 22 blend names.

Each blend line shows a limit, not an amount. Names are listed in descending order by weight, so name k can weigh at most 200 ÷ k mg (eCFR, 21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)). Use the filter to see one type at a time. Each name links to its profile.

From the Supplement Facts panel, in label order, per 1 mL serving. The blend lines show ceilings (or the floor for name 1), not amounts. Other ingredients (glycerin, water, organic lemon extract, stevia extract, xylitol, preservatives, citric acid, natural flavors) carry no amount.

Amounts03

How much of each Glyco Harmony ingredient is in a serving?

Only chromium has a printed amount: 0.7 mcg in each 1 mL serving. Every other name shares the 200 mg blend, and the label does not split it.

The rule still sets a ceiling for each name. If one dropper is 1 mL, these are the largest amounts the blend rule allows, set beside amounts used in research. The label amount and the research amount are not the same thing, and a studied dose says what was tested, not what works.

Four lines with a verified study amount, per 1 mL serving
IngredientOn the labelAmount in research
Chromium0.7 mcg200 to 500 mcg in typical chromium-only products (NIH ODS, Chromium fact sheet)
African mango seedAt most 50 mgUp to 3,150 mg a day for 10 weeks (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements for Weight Loss)
L-arginineAt most 12.5 mg2 to 20 g a day in exercise studies (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine)
L-carnitineAt most 9.09 mg0.25 to 4 g a day across 41 trials (NIH ODS, Carnitine fact sheet)

For the other 19 names we found either no human blood sugar study or no verified source at all.

The base04

What are the other ingredients in Glyco Harmony drops?

The other ingredients are glycerin, water, organic lemon extract, stevia extract 97% (Reb A), xylitol, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, citric acid and natural flavors.

These carry the liquid, sweeten it and keep it fresh. Stevia at 97% purity is in the range the FDA does not question as a food ingredient (FDA, Aspartame and Other Sweeteners in Food (stevia)). Xylitol is dangerous to dogs, so keep the bottle away from pets (FDA, Xylitol and dogs). The label prints no allergen statement.

Safety notes05

Which Glyco Harmony ingredients carry safety warnings?

Several names in Glyco Harmony carry warnings in the sources we read. None of these notes says the drops are unsafe. They say which names to raise with a doctor or pharmacist.

Safety notes by ingredient, attributed to the source
IngredientWhat the source says
ChromiumMay add to the effect of insulin and metformin, so low blood sugar is possible (NIH ODS, Chromium fact sheet)
L-arginineMay lower blood sugar and blood pressure (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine)
GinsengMight lower blood sugar and affect clotting (NCCIH, Asian Ginseng)
GymnemaRare liver injury reported (LiverTox, Gymnema)
Green tea extractLiver injury reported, mostly with concentrated extracts (LiverTox, Green Tea)
Licorice compoundCan raise blood pressure and lower potassium (NCCIH, Licorice Root)
GuaranaA caffeine source (MSK, Guarana)
GrapefruitThe juice changes how some medicines work; the source covers juice only (FDA, Grapefruit juice and some drugs)
Keep your care plan

Keep taking prescribed medicine. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before you add a supplement, and never change insulin or diabetes medicine because of one. See side effects and interactions.

What is not known06

Which Glyco Harmony ingredients have no verified research?

We found no verified source for L-tyrosine, L-ornithine or GABA, and the grapefruit and tryptophan sources are narrow. Where a source is missing, this site says so instead of guessing.

The grapefruit source covers juice, not extract. The tryptophan source is a 1989 outbreak tied to contaminated products, which is history and not a statement about this product (CDC MMWR 1989, Eosinophilia-myalgia and L-tryptophan). For capsicum, the only source says capsaicin had no effect on body weight in trials (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements for Weight Loss).

Profiles07

Where can you read about each Glyco Harmony ingredient?

Each group of names has its own profile page with the marked label lines, the limit the blend rule sets and the research found.

How the 22 names share 200 mg is on the proprietary blend page. Prices are on the pricing page.
