Glyco Harmony vs Any Other Supplement: How to Compare Labels Fairly

Quick answer

Glyco Harmony vs another product is best settled label to label, not ad to ad. Compare six facts: amount per serving, blend or single amounts, servings per bottle, directions, maker and warnings. Glyco Harmony prints one amount (0.7 mcg chromium) and a 200 mg blend of 22 names, with no single blend amounts.

The Supplement Facts panel is the page of the label to hold up against any other bottle.

How do you compare Glyco Harmony with another blood sugar supplement?

Put both Supplement Facts panels side by side and compare six facts. Ignore ads, ratings and celebrity names until the panels are read.

Amount per serving0.7 mcg chromium; blend 200 mg
Single amounts in a blendNot printed
Servings per bottle60 of 1 mL
Directions1 or 2 droppers full daily; dropper size not defined

Why does a proprietary blend make comparison hard?

A proprietary blend hides single amounts, so two bottles cannot be matched ingredient by ingredient.

The rule only asks for the blend total and a list in descending order by weight (eCFR, 21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)). In the Glyco Harmony blend, the first name weighs at least 9.09 mg (200 divided by 22). The twelfth weighs at most 16.7 mg (200 divided by 12). Those are ceilings and floors, not amounts.

If the other bottle prints a mg figure for each ingredient, it tells you more. The proprietary blend page shows all 22 ceilings.

Which claims should you hold against the label?

Hold every headline against the bottle it sells. If the label does not say it, treat the claim as marketing.

Below, the Glyco Harmony sales page meets its bottle. Run the same test on the other product.

How should you compare cost between two bottles?

Compare cost per day of use, not price per bottle. Divide the checkout total by the days the bottles last.

For Glyco Harmony, one bottle holds 60 servings. If a dropper is 1 mL, that is 60 days at one dropper a day and 30 days at two. Do the same sum for the other bottle at its own directions.

Whichever you pick, ask a doctor or pharmacist first if you take insulin or diabetes pills. A supplement is not a diabetes medicine. The packs below are as read on the sales page; confirm at checkout.

FAQ01

Glyco Harmony vs other products FAQ

How do I compare two supplement labels?

Read the Supplement Facts panel of each, line by line. Note the amount per serving, any proprietary blend, servings per container, directions and the named maker. The one that prints more single amounts gives you more to check.

Is Glyco Harmony better than a chromium-only supplement?

The label cannot answer that. Chromium-only products usually give 200 to 500 mcg, while Glyco Harmony prints 0.7 mcg per mL (NIH ODS, Chromium fact sheet). No source tested either one against the other, so "better" is not a fact either label supports.

Should I compare reviews or labels first?

Compare labels first. A label is a fixed document, while reviews can be edited, selected or faked. The FTC bans fake reviews, but you still cannot verify most of them yourself (FTC, Final rule banning fake reviews).
