Glyco Harmony and Consumer Reports: Has Any Independent Lab Tested It?
We know of no Consumer Reports test or other independent lab report for Glyco Harmony, and none is published. The lot numbers GH-26/TH-4057 and GH-4057-26-TH are seller references, not lab proof. The label cites an FDA registered facility, which is a listing, not a test of the product.

Has Consumer Reports or any lab tested Glyco Harmony?
We know of no Consumer Reports review and no independent lab report for Glyco Harmony, and the brand publishes none.
The seller gives two lot references, GH-26/TH-4057 and GH-4057-26-TH. They are codes, not reports. No lab name, method, date or result comes with them.
So purity and content stay open. The FDA has found hidden prescription drugs in some glucose-support supplements (FDA, Hidden drugs in SugarMD glucose supplement). We do not suggest this product holds any; no source has tested it either way.
What marks show a supplement was independently tested?
Real testing leaves a trail: a named third party, a lot-specific report and the method used.
| Mark | What it should include | Seen on this label |
|---|---|---|
| Third-party seal | Named certifier you can look up | None printed |
| Lot report | Lab name, date, lot and result | None published |
| Method | What was tested: contents, metals, purity | Not stated |
| Facility | Named maker and address | Not named |
The FDA does not approve supplements before sale (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements), so outside proof matters. See the testing and quality page.
Which Glyco Harmony claims have independent support?
None of the sales claims we checked has an independent test of this product behind it.
- Label front“Blood Sugar Support*”A structure/function phrase. The star leads to the FDA statement: not evaluated, not meant to treat any disease. The FDA does not approve supplements before sale. (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements)
- Sales page headline“The Easiest Way to Manage Type 2”A disease-management claim. Only drugs may claim to treat disease, and the ADA says supplements are not proven to lower blood glucose or support diabetes management. (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements) (American Diabetes Association, Vitamins and Supplements)
- Sales page“5 vital nutrients”The page's own list names six, and the label's blend names 22. The label wins on this site. (Glyco Harmony sales page) (eCFR, 21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends))
- Dose check“0.7 mcg chromium”Trials of chromium used 1.28 to 1,000 mcg a day, and chromium-only products usually give 200 to 500 mcg. Pooled results show small changes of unclear importance. (NIH ODS, Chromium fact sheet) (Yin and Phung 2015, chromium and A1C)
- Dose check“200 mg blend of 22 names”The rule does not require single amounts, so each name shares 200 mg: at most 25 mg for gymnema, 28.6 mg for green tea, 16.7 mg for ginseng. No study tested this mix. (eCFR, 21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends))
- Common question“Can it replace my diabetes medicine?”No. NCCIH says not to replace medical treatment with an unproven product, and FDA has found hidden drugs in some glucose supplements. (NCCIH, Diabetes and Dietary Supplements) (FDA, Hidden drugs in SugarMD glucose supplement)
- Context“It worked for me”A testimonial is not a substitute for scientific evidence, and typical results must be stated. Fake or unverified reviews are banned. (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance) (FTC, Final rule banning fake reviews)
Claims as printed on the label. Health claims need competent and reliable scientific evidence, generally human trials of the same product (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance).

FAQ01
Glyco Harmony testing FAQ
Is Glyco Harmony third-party tested?
No third-party test is printed on the label or published by the seller as far as we know. The lot references are seller codes, not lab proof. Ask the distributor for a lot-specific report and keep the reply.
What is a certificate of analysis for a supplement?
A certificate of analysis is a lab report for a specific lot. It should name the lab, the date, the tests run and the results. A bare code with no lab name, like the seller's references here, is not one.
Does FDA registered mean tested?
No. FDA registration lists a facility. It does not mean the FDA tested or approved a product. The FDA says it does not approve supplements before sale, so the registration footnote is not a quality test (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements).
